I was Fortnite today and with it being Thursday was good because it’s when Fortnite makes an update to the game and that was today. I was going into a game and I’m getting towards the end and with me being by a house and it being not looted so I went in. Once I got in I searched the bottom floor of the house and found nothing good and same for the second one two. So I broke my way into the attack and just paused and stopped and my mouth dropped when I saw it. It was the new guided missle and just wanted to try it out and then I took it outside the house and see what would happen. I shot the guided missle and I was able to guide and I searched the whole area with it and saw how good it was. Now I was just thinking how many different way that I can use this weapon on other players in the game. In the end I was really happy to get the new guided missle and was going to brag it off to my friends.

During the year we have a current type of testing that would we would take once a year and it finally came. Then my teacher said if we attended every day of testing there would be a surprise and that’s only if we attended everyday of testing. I was really anxious and wanted to know badly what the surprise was and knew that I day to attend to every day of testing. Then the moment came and my teacher spilled out that I magian was coming and now I couldn’t speak. I got so excited as my face was lighting up and didn’t really have an expression on my face and didn’t know what to do. To make sure I told my teacher if it was actually true and she said yes he are having a magian to the school. Now I was going around to my friends and spreading the news and everyone reacted like I did when I heard the news. In the end I was very happy and overly excited and couldn’t wait til the magian came like I needed to see it.

Yesterday I was coming from the lunch room ready to go back to class and not glad to do some more learning and wasn’t excited. I just wanted to get the day over with and just wasn’t ready to go back to another classroom and wanted to leave school. So I walked into class and there was something I didn’t get and wondered where my teacher was. There was two other adults in the room instead with a pasued movie on the smart board. I looked to one of my friends and told him what is going on and he told me that we where watching a movie and then my face lit up. I didn’t have to worry about working on lessons and all of that and was really happy. Now I would finish off part of my afternoon on a good note and was happy for that and to relax for a bit. I really excited to watch the movie and found out the movie we were watching was the Secret Life Of Pets.

In ELA today we going to start a project on a Chicago and it’s history and have many options to choose from. When I heard that sports was an option I was so glad and knowing that I loved sports and was really excited. My teacher had given the option that I can do the Chicago Cubs because it was a sport team in the Chicago. Just so you guys know I’m a big Cubs fan and would love to learn more on them and do research. This is probably one of the best projects I have done yet in ELA and is going to be really fun. Now im just imagining all the new stuff I can learn about the Chicago Cubs and the stuff that I would be able to teach. I felt pretty good now and knew that by growing up with them and that I could even know them more now. Thanks for reading my Slice Of Life today and will keep going till the end of the challenge.

One day I had an assembly and are school had a special guest brought to our school from the university of Illinois. I was pretty excited but there was a moment during the show which caught my attention the most and that I most favored. During the show some random person in a costume dressed as a monkey and then out of nowhere pulled out two hats. On them were to baseball teams from Chicago and they were the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox’s. Personally in my oppion I love the Chicago Cubs and grew up with them sense I was born. As the person in the costume was looking at the two hats back and forth and like trying to find out which one is better. I was praying that the person will pick the Cubs was shaking waiting for the moment to happen. The he threw the Sox’s hat down and then I starting celebrating in joy not feeling bad fro the Sox’s fans. That assembly ended of pretty good in my end and was a god day to end my day.

One day I was packing my stuff getting ready to go home when I see lots of tiny IPad cases that looked pretty new and fresh and looked interesting. I went to my teacher and told her what are these new IPad cases doing here and she said there new ones for us and the other classrooms. Then she said that I had to get my old IPad case and give it up so I can get my brand new one and get rid of the old one. Once I had got my new case for my iPad and tried to put my iPad in it and I started to struggle like it wouldn’t fit at all. I was thinking and saw that I had a rubber case and that it was thick so it was pretty hard to put in bag and knew it was it it was going to be a struggle from now on. The iPad case and as I said it looks really small like a tiny purse bag and way different then our other ones and with our others ones being a lot bigger. My friend has a different iPad cover and it’s a lot skinnier than mine is and it’s a lot easier to put it in the new iPad case so my friend is pre

I walked into math one day and noticed the I had to 10% higher on my Khan Academy and I was only 4% higher. So I was rushing before she told us to stop and that we had run out of time and was getting nervous. Even when my teacher said that if you went up 10% you would get a good incentive  tand that’s what I wanted. My friend told me to do mastery task and that it would make me go up a percent every time I get 100 on a mastery task. I started doing and started to go up a few percent then my teacher said that we only had three minutes. I had to go up one more percent on Khan and was quickly running out of time and was sweating. On that last mastery task I got one wrong and then I got two wrong and now was scared and as I finished the mastery task. I went to go look at my percent  and still saw it at the same with a minute left and a few seconds later I reached my goal. Outside I was really chill but inside I was filled with excitement like it was a party.

Yesterday I was play this game called foes.io and friends were also playing it to with not knowing I was playing. So one of my friends called out a server for foes.io little did they know that I joined it. When I got in I killed one of my friends without them knowing it was and started blasting people and my friends gettting so mad. I played another round without my friends noticing and still managed to kill all my friends in the game. Then came the third game the most suspicious game when I friend comes over to play by me and then he sees me playing it. I told him that I was just in another server and had to leave it at that for a second but that’s when I encountered him in the game. I took three shots with the pump and killed him and he got mad and he saw that I had killed someone at the same time. Now he had found out it was me the whole time winning all the games and killing everyone and  had a surprised face. Then he told all of the people that I was playing with and had exposed m

Yesterday I was playing on my Xbox when I get this message from my friend so then I go to open the message. Earlier that day me and my friend were talking about Fortnite and he had told me that he had 300 wins in total and I didn’t believe him. I told him to prove it to me and I think that the pictures that I was about to open was the truth. There was three screenshots that he had sent me two so that must of been for squad,duo,and solo. I opened the first one and I lost it he had 156 squad wins. Then I went to the next picture which was his duos and he had 79 and didn’t know what to do. Now I was on his solos and expecting something unbelievable and I did because he had 70 solo wins. In the end I was amazed and didn’t know if it was real and was incredible. Now I know was going to talk to my friend tomorrow and get some answers and couldn’t believe all the wins he had. .

I just finished testing and didn’t know what to do and wanted to watch YouTube but I needed headphones. So I asked my teacher if I could go to my locker to see if my headphones were there and opened it. I look inside and I’m checking to see if it’s in there and I was truggling to find it hoping that I hadn’t forgot it. I’m there still searching and searching and sadly I had to come to the conclusion that it was not there. Now I’m there thinking we’re I had forgotten it and thought it was at my house. I go back into the classroom and sat in sarrow thinking I could of been enjoying my self fight now we’re nobody could hear a think through my iPad. But nope I forgot it and thinking through out the day I couldn’t use them because I didn’t have them. Now I knew to bring my headphones from now on and with a situation that happened like this one and knew now that it can be prevented from now on.

One day I was hanging with my friend and out of no where he tells me that he has to show me something. So I told him what do you need to show me and he said you will see for yourself in a minute. So my friend opened up his phone and he told me I had to close my eyes so that’s what I did for a minute or two. After I was done waiting for a bit I opened my eyes and what I saw on my friends phone something that was just unpredictable to me. As opened my eyes more to see if it was real and saw that it was Fortnite on a mobile device. I have been playing Fortnite on my concle for a long time and wanted to see what it was like on the phone. As I was testing it out on the phone I realized that it was just as good as the real thing. In the end I was excited for Fortnite on mobile and couldn’t wait to test out more of it in the future.

I was playing this game called Fortnite and was playing duos with my friend and didn’t have one duo win till that match. There was six people left in the match and three duos left all ending up at Dusty Depot and me being really scared. Me and my partner went onto the top of Dusty and as we were up there we started getting built on. So I builder up to one guy and pumped him and knocked him and my friend got the last person. Now there was another duo to kill and they were camping inside a building and we broke apart of the building. Then me and my partner started nading inside the place and blew them up and now was down to the last person. I heard the last guy so I went after him and started to use my green pump and shoot him down. I got his shield off but he knocked me and it was down to my partner and then they went at it. My teammate ducked and shot him with the golden Scar-L and killed him and with my friend not getting hit once. Now I was screaming in excitement knowing that I just

I went to my friends house one day and didn’t know what we were going to do wanting it to be something good. I knocked on the door and a few seconds later he opened the door and we said hi to each other and I went inside. Once I got inside I told him “so what do you want to do” and he sad “ I have something in mind”. Then I started to question my mind on what he meant by that he had something in mind which was kinda suspicious. When I had walked into his room all I saw was a loading screen for the game called Fortnite. If you didn’t know I love the video game Fortnite and my friend didn’t have it so he would come by my house. I was so happy now knowing that I could come to my friends house now to play my favorite video game ever there. In the end me and my friend played Fortnite all day and night and had a very awesome time.

So last night I told my friend that I was about to run out of batteries on my Xbox controller and said that I didn’t have anymore. I came in the next day to school and like normal and at my locker when I got a tap on my shoulder. So I look behind me and it was my friend that I was playing Xbox with and didn’t know why he needed me. He said “you said you needed some batteries so here you go” and then my face lit up. I responded happily “ thank you so much bro” he said “no problem”. After that I just didn’t know what to do and I just gave him some falcon dollars and thanked it all to him. Now I was very happy and was good with my controller for the next few weeks all to him. Think that I would have to stay off the Xbox for the next few weeks till a get new ones but not this time.

I was fast asleep one early morning when I heard weird whispering noise from not a far distance away. So I struggled to open my eyes and tryed to point out who was whispering to me and pointed out it was my mom. “ Mom why did you wake me up so early” she said “ because I wanted to know if you wanted to go to Dunkin’ Donuts”. I just had to get ready quick because this was before school and got ready. I didn’t even care that it was early in the morning I was just in it for the Dunkin Donuts and wanted it bad too. My sister or dad didn’t even know either because me and my mom leave the house early any way so it won’t be suspicious. I didn’t even know what I was going get at Dunkin Donuts but I think I was going to get there hash browns. So when we showed up I got that and when we left I thanked my mom for taking me for a little treat.

I walked into math class today and had totally forgot that I was getting my test back and got really nervous. My teacher handed out our folders with all of our test in their that we have done previous and going to put the one that we got in there. I was just sitting in my chair hoping I would get a good grade and actually be happy with myself. Now it was the moment and and my teacher was about to announce the people who got hundreds. My teacher announced the first person and it wasn’t me and the second was announced and still wasn’t me. Now it was the last person to be called and hoped it was me and now she announced the last person and it was surprisly me. I was really happy and was excited to share the news to my parents and tell them about my test. I was also going to be on my teachers page on getting a 100 on your test. In the end I was happy that I got a 100 on my test and was very releved .

One day I came into excel like usual but this day was different and with it being Valentine’s Day I didn’t expect anything also us being older. But when I came into excel I saw people with a butt load of candy and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I went closer to the table with the candy and saw Kit Kats,Sour Patches, and even Fun Dip. So I dug in and started grabbing some candy and started  munching and crunching and couldn’t stop. I just didn’t want excel to come to an end and just was still eating what I could get. Then more people started to show up and also started getting food and it was like an addiction for candy. I was eating the candy like it was about to go extinct and was getting really hyper and didn’t know that Valentines Day would be this fun in school. Well sadly excel had to come to an end and the people put all the candy away,but I still had a really good time.

I was playing Xbox last night with one of my friends when I said I had to change the batteries for my controller really quick. Then all of a sudden my friend just started laughing so hard through the mic like it was a like a disease for him. I asked him what’s so funny and he said  “ you said you have to change your batteries” and now I was confused. But now I started laughing for no reason to and went along with it and not knowing what I was laughing about. Now we were both laughing really hard through the mic and couldn’t stop doing it. I didn’t know what to do now in the situation with it being so random and didn’t know what was going on so I was still laughing. It was a very funny moment and one of the hardest times I’ve laughed in my life and for no reason. In the end I got my new batteries and put them into my controller and will never forget that moment ever again.

One day I got home from school and was going to play on my Xbox but when it turned on it said I needed WiFi. So I checked our router and it showed that our WiFi was good so I was going to play with the Xbox. I tryed Turing it on and off but it still didn’t work and after that I just went to my dad and see if he could help. He came in my room and checked it out so I went to my WiFi in the settings on my Xbox and played with that. I still couldn’t get the WiFi on the Xbox,now it was starting to bug me and needed to play some Fortnite. Now one of the easiest things came to my and that was just to restart my Xbox. So that’s what I did and of course it was now working after everything that we went through and it being so simple. In the end I was still happy that it started working and was happy to get on Fortnite with there being such a big delay to play.

There were four people left in Fortnite game and I saw a lot of good loot and wanted to go for it but somebody was there. I was with my teammate in duos and it was one guy so we rushed him and grabbed the loot. Then out of nowhere he was shooting my teammate and knocked him and now it was me vs the guy and I shot him and and he shot me but I still finished him. Now I was at 17 health and had to run from the storm and with me and another guy left in duos. I felt bad because I couldn’t revive my partner because then I would die in the storm and still trying to make the border. Now I was in the storm and was about to be a goner and when I would die the other person would win. There goes my health 2 and now zero,I felt so frustrated now that we shouldn't of went to the loot in the first place. What even got me more angry is that when I died the other person didn't even have to do anything to win and got a easy victory royal.

To refresh your memory I had lost a book from our library and the book has been gone for over a month now. So one day I was fixing our classes books with a classmate and putting each book in the shelves when I stumbled across a book that looked familiar. When I pulled the book closer to my eyes I had finally realized that it was my book. I was shocked at that very moment and went to go tell my teacher the news. My mom was so mad when I lost it and didn't want to pay for it and now wouldn't have to it at all. I also thanked my friend who was helping me sort the books out and made me stumble across my book. After that I went to the library to get it renewed even though it's been overdue for about a month or so now. In the end I was so glad to get my book back and didn't have to pay for it.

I was home one day when my mom came rushing through in the door like she wanted to tell me something and that I needed to know. She came into my room and told me we won the lottery and I was like “WERE MILLON AIRS” then my mom corrected “its only one hundred” I was like what the heck in my head. She was only excited because that’s the biggest lottery that she  has ever won basically. My mom said “we’re going out today” I was like yeah. She also said that I would get ten dollars and I was beyond happy at that point. With the extra money she said she was going to use for my dog because he needed dog treats and other stuff. I also thought what I would do with that money and knew I would spend it on my video gaming concle. I still knew that the money is needed more for people that need it. I was at home one day and relaxing waiting for my mom to come home and was very bored at the house. A few minutes later I heard somebody opening the door at my house and knew it was my mom . I went outside my room to say hi to my mom and I said “hi” and without answering she said “ you want to go get mint shakes. I responded “of course” and was so excited because they only came out once a year. They are so good and there are from McDonald’s and only come out around st patty’s day. I got in the car filled with excitement and once we got there all I wanted was the shamrock shake . As soon as the person at the counter gave me the shake I started drinking it so fast like I wasn’t able to breath. I thanked my mom for taking me and was so happy to get my shamrock shake and hope to get another one. Thanks for letting me share this blog with you and will write more through out the month.

This evening I was at a car show with my friend and his uncle,and my friends uncle had a car at the car show. We were waiting for the awards to be called out and see if my friends uncle would win an award. I was feeling pretty confident that he would win because lots of people would stop by his car during the car show. Now it was time to call out the awards and see if he would get the first one, the first winner was called but sadly not him. Now the send one award was going to be announced but still didn’t win a award and I was getting worried. The third one was now going to be called and still no sign of his name,and now down to the last award. I was shaking to see if he would win and heard for the announcer to call out and finally called out his name. Me and my friend started jumping in excitement and we’re so happy and relived. That was a pretty good night even after the race we got to take a stroll in the car.

This morning was one of those mornings for my were I just didn’t want to get out of bed and felt like sleeping forever. I was in my bed fast asleep when out of nowhere my mom comes in and opens the door and is telling me to wake up. It’s the process of every morning for me and she opens the blinds and turns on the light so I don’t go back to sleep. I was feeling pretty sore that morning from my soccer practice the night before and just wanted to relax. Now I know when your parents tell you that you have to go to bed,and it’s for a good reason not to be like me. As I got dressed and everything when I was all ready for school I just sat in my bed and tryed to go back to sleep. But that didn’t happen my mom yelling at me “ WE NEED TO GO” so I just got up and walked out the door. It’s like a military camp if I didn’t get enough sleep I would regret it sooner or later.

I was playing a game of Fornite one day when I was in a solo by myself and one other person left, and had a victory royal on the line. I had 59 health and no shield potion but I had a legendary Scar-L which was one of the best guns in the game. I’m pretty sure that the other guy was pretty good two and probably had 100 health and shield potion. I couldn’t seem to find the other guy as I was hiding and so was he and with the circle getting smaller he would have to move. Now I saw the guy moving and was scared to shoot thinking he would destroy me if he knew were I was. The player was now in the open and took the risk and started firing at him and now he saw me and was trying to kill me. The player started building a base on me and I couldn’t because I had no material and was done for. I was trying to escape but couldn’t,and the guy destroyed me and I died and now about to rage. I was so angry and frustrated thinking I could of had my first victory royal, but maybe some other time.

I was at my house one day in my room when there was a strange knock at the door and not expecting anyone. So headed towards the door and look out the window to just take a glance at who the person was. As I was examining the person I noticed that it was a  kid and not just a random kid but one that I know. He was a old friend that I knew and hadn’t seen him in a while so I told my dad to get the door. My dad was now opening the door and the my friend asked “is Julian home” my dad responded “yes he is”. So then I came to the door and said “what’s up” and then I threw in a “how you been” getting weird. He was just standing there smiling at me when he said “well see you around and dashed off. I went towards the window to see were he went and were he came from but couldn’t point it out. That day was pretty weird and awkward in the moment and pretty sure I will see him in a while and pretty funny.

I was in school one morning and working and assignments that the teacher had assigned us when someone calls our room. So when ever the phone rings for our room it’s never me and if someone called it would probably be a message from thier parents or in trouble. Now I watch as my teachers goes to the phone and picks  it up and is now talking to my vice principal and suddenly calls my name. Now I stared getting very nervous thinking if I was in trouble or not and not knowing what to do. So my teacher said “ the phone is all yours Julian”. Now I started to stand up and go to the phone and once I got to the phone I picked it up. My vice principal said” your mom will be picking you up today “ I responded “ok”. Now as I was walking back to sit down I fell in relief and was ok. I now learned that getting called by you vice principal or principal was not always a bad thing.

This morning I had just got into school and went into my backpack to check if all of my stuff was in there. When I noticed that my planner was missing and then started shaking very nervously because all of my homework was in there. So I tryed to think back and track my steps but I couldn’t remember where I had left it. So I out of nowhere I thought that I should check my locker so me and my friend went ahead. Still shaking while heading to my locker and I got to my locker I struggled to open to how frightened I was. I had finally opened it and searching trying to find it and couldn’t seem to find it and knew that moment I was in trouble. Now everyone is coming to there lockers and left it alone until one point in excel. Durning excel the announcements came on and coming out of the speaker said “ Julian Soto please come down to the office” and I wondered if the office would have it and maybe could be a miracle. When I got down there the office person said “here you go and go back to cla

I was playing video games one evening when I heard someone call me from out of my room and went to see who called me. I went outside my room and saw that it was my mom that was calling and questioned her “what” and she said “just come here” so I responded “ok”. Once I got closer to her I started to see a adidas box when I had remembered I was supposed to get new soccer shoes. So I had realized very soon what it was and I’m pretty she knew I knew that to. I asked her “are those my new soccer cleats for outdoor” she replied “yes”. My lit up stool even though I knew that I was getting them and worried that they would fit me because I really liked them. So I took the pair of soccer cleats out the box and they look awesome and put them on. The shoes fit me but there is not a lot of room in shoes and was upset and probably had to send them back to get the next size up. So my mom had told me “ I will get the next size up and will come soon” I told her that, that was fine. At least I knew that

One day I was at the store with my mom and my mom was checking out when towards the exit of the store I saw something out the corner of my eye. So I told my mom “ I will be right back” and her response was “ well if it’s something from the store your not getting it” I said “no it’s not”. Now I had gone along to see was this object or thing I saw out of the corner of my eye. As I got closer I started to make out that it was green and when I so close I made out what it was and my mouth dropped. It was a bill of some sort and was scared to flip it over because it could a 1$ bill,5$ bill, or something crazy like 100 dollars. First I looked around to see if anyone had dropped it and if anyone’s was by me and I looked to see that the coast was clear. I picked it up to find a twenty dollar bill and just ran to my mom in the check out line. I showed her what I had found and both of us were in excitement. Leaving the store just thinking what I was going to spent the money on.
