I was just getting out of school and was having a hard time carrying my sisters backpack to the car with everything she had for school in there. I was carrying her stuff that day because she had gone with her running club and had to leave her backpack with me. So I was so happy when I got in the car to finally drop her stuff on the seat next to me and was ready to go home. Then as we were driving my mom out of nowhere said “ don’t tell your sister I got you this”. I responded “ok”  questioning myself on what it was. Now I here her grabbing into a bag trying to take something out , Then she takes out a big Twix Bar. I had no expression on my face but delight and told her thank you and starting munching it. I just never thought the end of the day could get any better and was so happy.

Smoking is the leading cause in preventable deaths and causes 480,00 people to die let alone just in the United States. In comparing the U.S. and England by deaths in the country’s is a big difference and England with only 1,000 people dead a year from smoking and the U.S. with 480,00. Another reason that smoking should be illegal in the U.S. is that a cigarette contains more than 4,000 chemicals. That can give different diseases and may lead to different cancers. Also when smoking you can develop breathing problems and can develop a slow heart rate and your heart starts to break down. Second smoke is when you take in smoke from smokers around you,and is just as bad smoking. Even when a mom smokes and haves a kid that kid could be born with a illness or even more than one. These are some reasons why smoking should be illegal and all these reasons can or may lead to death. Stand to make smoking illegal and prevent all these deaths from smoking happening.

According to a article I read on should schools tell you how to dress and talks about how a thirteen year old girl Ava. She were a skirt to school and was told by a teacher that it was violating the dress code  by her height and it being to short. On the other side of the argument wearing a uniform and having to have a dress code reduces bullying. From everyone wearing the same clothes to everyone having different outfits that people might pick on for what your wearing. Kids also want to express themselves and who they are with wearing what they want,but can still lead to bullying. Also with wearing uniforms it can be teaching you life skills for in the future like jobs being needed to have to wear current types of clothes. Personally I think we should have uniforms because of the reasons I stated from the article. Also the opposing view of it sharing and comparing the two different sides of the article.

This all started on Thursday as I was about to leave school and one of my teachers said have a good weekend when there was still Friday to go. Then he pointed out that there is no school on Friday because of a snow day. That’s when I got super exited and couldn’t wait for a three day weekend and relax. When I woke up the next morning and thought that I could be getting ready for school and thought what I would be doing in school throughout the day,but instead relaxing that day. I even remembered that it was my first snow day in a few years for school. On fridays are like test days but that day I didn’t have any because I didn’t have school. I was also telling my friends on how they found out on how school was canceled and sharing the news. At the end of the day I told my mom well that was a hard day even though there wasn’t any school at all that day.

I believe that killer whales should not be held in captivity,but other people do thing that they should be held in captivity so I’m going to tell you some reasons why. One reason they want killers whales in captivity is because they want to make money off them and the show they have on orcas. That SeaWorld also makes a big profit off the killer whale by themselves even hen they give them to other Seaworlds. Another opposing view of killer whales being held in captivity is that it's for them to care for them and can’t sacrifice that for them in the wild. The SeaWorld industry does care for all of the killer whales with thier 27 of them at SeaWorld. SeaWorld don’t even collect killer whales anyone, and the last time they did was thirty five years ago. SeaWorld also says that there is twenty four hour observation over the killer whales and cared for. SeaWorld really does care for killer whales and treats them right and are loving for them and so are the killer whales.

Now the second quarter has ended and it’s the beginning of the new quarter so I will be talking about my goals for third quarter. One of my goals for third quarter is two bump up my two, two to a three or a four, for when I get my grades at the end of third quarter. Another goal for me for third quarter is to have no fouls and try not to miss a day of school in the third quarter. For another goal that I want to succeed in the third quarter is to read more books than expected. I also want to try to do more than the blog post we do for one week and that is more than expected. I also want to save up more falcon dollars this quarter to buy better items at the falcon dollar store. In the rest of my subjects I want to work more on topics that we work on in the class like science,social studies,and math. These are my goals for the third quarter and I was happy to share them with you.
