Berlin Memorial Activity

Something I learned is that over the years from from 1933-1945 is that the laws got worse and worse for the Jews over the years throughout the war. In the beginning they starting taking jobs away from the Jews which wasn’t as bad as it had got to be in the future. When The Nazis would take away things that Jews needed like Milk, couldn’t use ration card for wool or eggs. These things they need to live so they don’t go hungry and won’t starve which is worse than not having a job.

This was built because it was apart of history and a memorial it’s something that you don’t want to forget about. It’s a important part of history that we can’t just forget about and needs to be remembered so everyone can see and hear about. With it being a sad topic it is also important to talk about and see how life developed for these innocent people. Also being a big part of history in the world that is nothing like we see today that’s why it’s good to remember and not for is disappear like it never happened.

I noticed that the amount of laws passed throughout the years increased when something big was happening which was like 2-3 times throughout the years. Like in the beginning when The Nazi’s came to control in 1933 and starting enforcing all these rules against Jews. Also in 1938 there was a lot of laws when the Germans were having a dispute with France and Great Britain over Czechoslovakia which eventually led to WW2 and with them going to war they had more rules for Jews. Also in 1942 when The United States came in and now had another enemy coming from the west which led to a big problem that they might loose making laws for Jews that led them to go to death camps, that was the final solution because Germany knew they were going to loose the war.

One restriction I would have the most trouble with is milk and with it being something I drink and use with other things to eat. Like it would weird to stop having it when you have it everyday with what eating  or drinking. Like I drink milk on a regular basis and don’t think I can go long without some of it. Also it’s the only I can think of that I would have the most trouble adapting to on the ones I saw up against the wall.
